Joe, Meredith, Baby A, + Grandparents: At Home Family Session

Earlier this winter I had the absolute pleasure of photographing one of my former wedding couples, Joe and Meredith, their 6 month old daughter Baby A, and her grandparents.  We met in the client's home for a 2 part session, which means we scheduled an hour session on one day and I came back for another hour session a week or so later.

Baby A is such a sweetheart and 6 months is such a cute age. She was just starting to sit up & was all smiles. What a sweet baby girl and I absolutely adore her parents! It was nice to see Meredith's mother and father again too.  They are such good people & welcomed me into their home.

Joe & Meredith's wedding can be viewed here and we also did their engagement session a month or so before their wedding.  Its been wonderful capturing so many of this family's important memories and we are already planning another session around Baby A's 1st birthday in August.  I've enjoyed being back in touch with Meredith and Joe and hope that we continue to do so!

Dara + Dan - An Intimate Garden Wedding - Providence, NC

Dara and Dan's lovely intimate garden wedding took place on a beautiful summer afternoon back in June.  They celebrated with close friends and family at the home of the bride's sister Dena & brother-in-law. Dena is an avid gardener and their place looked amazing! Tables decorated with potted flowers along with an assortment of fresh and dried flowers, hobnob glass vases, white china, & teal and burlap tablecloths, were arranged on the patio overlooking the arbor and garden where Dara and Dan exchanged vows.

Immediately following the ceremony, cocktails and h'rodourves were served to the guests while Haley & I photographed Dara, Dan, and their families. The newlyweds were introduced and mingled with their guests just before dinner was served buffet style. Champagne was passed around to all of the guests for the toasts before Dan and Dara cut their wedding cake. It was a chocolate ganache covered in fresh berries with whipped cream between the layers. Dena, who made this amazing cake, insisted we try a slice. Oh my, it was delicious. She's not only a fabulous gardner, she's also a fabulous baker!

It will be a day to remember! Congratulations Dara and Dan - we loved creating memories for you!
