jenn's maternity session: high point portrait photographer

what can i say? jenn's maternity session was one of my absolute favorites of all times!  we had a blast. i was overly impressed as jenn painted "the tree of life" on her own belly the morning of her session with a few touch ups from me! we started off at her home and headed out from there to a pretty fabulous location near downtown high point.

jenn is a special friend whom i love to pieces! she and her husband, greg, have three adorable daughters and a fourth on the way. we are all so excited and awaiting the arrival of suzie magnolia, due any day now.  i'm hoping to finish this post before jenn goes into labor!

some of you may remember jenn's maternity session when she was expecting sally blue, who is now two! over the past several years, i've come to know jenn and her family & i adore them all. terry & i often camp with them, attend music festivals & live shows together. they are wonderful parents and an amazing family. we always enjoy hanging out with them. not to mention jenn is a fantastic baker and often shares sweets with us... she rocks! 

a big congratulations to jenn, greg, and suzie magnolia's three big sisters!  it won't be long!

jenn's maternity session

though it was a chilly and very windy day, jenn and her husband greg braved the elements and joined me out here in the countryside for her maternity session last weekend. we had some beautiful late afternoon light and some fabulous places for photo ops.  from an old abandoned barn to a friend's "shabby chic" farmhouse with tons of character, we really had fun! jenn and greg are expecting a baby girl {and their 3rd daughter!} just a few days before christmas. so very exciting! we all look forward to welcoming sweet sally into the world & i really can't wait to meet her!  perhaps a newborn session is in the making? stay tuned!

jen's maternity session

last friday afternoon, i got together with several of my girlfriends in chapel hill, who all happen to be photographers. we agreed to photograph our friend, jen, for her maternity session. her husband, hal, and their little boy, cameron, joined in on the fun and we were able to get a few family pics too.

jen is also an incredible photographer herself and i'm amazed at 8 months along, she is still out there shooting assignments! jen's specialties include families, maternity, children, couples, and weddings. please be sure to visit her website here: j.b haygood photography. i'm excited to be working with her next march as a second shooter at a wedding to be held in duke chapel! i feel so fortunate to belong to such a great group of very talented women, also known as the "photo chicks"!

jen's baby girl is due in a month and we can hardly wait to meet her. I can see some baby photos in the future! thanks for giving us ladies the opportunity to photograph you and your sweet family. Congratulations go out to jen, hal, and cameron... we all are so excited for you!
