Ashley's Bridal Session - Adaumont Farm

Now that Ashley is married to Michael, I can finally feature her bridal session here on the blog! We scheduled her session back in early June at Adaumont Farm, where their wedding was also held this past Saturday.  I've been wanting to share these all summer & I finally can! Some of my favorites from that day are the ones of her on the swing. She chose one of these for a printed canvas, which was displayed at their wedding reception. Her gown, you may notice, is a very pale blush and I just loved her cowgirl boots!  I've really enjoyed getting to know Ashley over the past year & I'm excited to know that she and Michael are going to be new neighbors, as they're building a house close by to my farm!

Shannon - At Home Garden Bridal Session

Shannon and Brandus had a gorgeous wedding this past Saturday at the Burke Manor Inn & Pavilion, so I can finally feature her bridal session on the blog.  We scheduled her morning session in mid-June in the garden at her parent's home in Burlington. Shannon looked absolutely stunning and I loved her dress with the lace & beaded bodice, satin skirt, and just a little bit of bling in her sash.  Everything about her look was classic and elegant. She told me she was sold on the dress when she discovered it had pockets! Today I'm sharing a few favorites and can't wait to share from their wedding day too.

Carmody's Bridal Session - Adaumont Farm

Carmody & Alex were married this past weekend and now I can finally post a few favorites from her bridal session!  I've been wanting to share these ever since we met for her June session at Adaumont Farm, where they also had their wedding. There are so many fantastic locations for photos at this beautiful farm, not to mention Carmody was absolutely gorgeous in her very unique wedding gown. I love how she and her mother created a brooch bouquet by using an assortment of family heirlooms and a few new pieces.   Be sure to check back in a few weeks, as we hope to feature Carmody and Alex's wedding here on the blog. Jessie's Bridals - The Proximity Hotel

Jessie and Stanton had a beautiful wedding this past weekend in Durham at their church & reception at The Washington Duke Inn.  And now that they are married, I can finally post several favorites from her bridal session last month at The Proximity Hotel.  

It was not an easy task choosing favorites, as there are just so many. Jessie was an absolutely stunning bride, with such a sweet personality. Her gown was one of my personal favorites to date.  From the intricate lace to the many buttons down the back - my favorite detail of her gown was the pleats going down one side of the hem.  And those shoes!  A special touch was her grandmother's brooch added to her sash on her waist.

We made an afternoon of it and the entire experience at The Proximity Hotel was simply fabulous! A gorgeous bride, an amazing dress, beautiful flowers, & the perfect location - it doesn't get much better than that!
