Shannon - At Home Garden Bridal Session

Shannon and Brandus had a gorgeous wedding this past Saturday at the Burke Manor Inn & Pavilion, so I can finally feature her bridal session on the blog.  We scheduled her morning session in mid-June in the garden at her parent's home in Burlington. Shannon looked absolutely stunning and I loved her dress with the lace & beaded bodice, satin skirt, and just a little bit of bling in her sash.  Everything about her look was classic and elegant. She told me she was sold on the dress when she discovered it had pockets! Today I'm sharing a few favorites and can't wait to share from their wedding day too.

Kara's Tanglewood Arboretum Bridal Session

Kara was married this past April, but chose to do her bridal session after the wedding. After a busy summer for both of us, we settled on a date in mid-September, only to be rained out. We were there all of 15 minutes, when a thunderstorm came up suddenly. So we rescheduled a week later & the weather turned out to be amazing. Cooler temps along with the beautiful late afternoon light, made it so worth it to come back!  We met up at Tanglewood Arboretum, which offers many great locations throughout the gardens.  Kara's parents joined us and her mother requested a particular shot, which I thought was brilliant & totally agreed to do. Kara climbed up into one of the huge hemlock trees in her wedding dress - I'm betting she wouldn't of done this before the wedding!!! It made for some unique one-of-a kind bridals.  And speaking of their wedding, I hope to feature it on the blog in the coming months. From their engagement session last summer up until now, I've really enjoyed working with Kara & her husband Matt.  They are such a fun and adventurous couple!

Mandi's Bridals - The Gardens at Gray Gables

Mandi chose to have her bridal session at The Garden at Gray Gables, where she and Adam were married this past Sunday.  What a stunning bride she was, and I'm excited to finally be able to share her photos from the session we did back in July. What a difference about 6 weeks makes in the weather - hot, humid the day of her bridals and crisp and cool on their wedding day.  Fall is in the air!  Enjoy a few of my personal favorites - it was not easy choosing just a few!  Please check back for a blog post coming soon featuring their wedding and be sure to take a look at their engagement session posted last week on the blog here!

Juliana's Bridal - The Gardens at Southern Soirees

Now that Juliana & Brian are married, I can finally share photos from her bridal session! What a lovely & elegant bride she was - so stunning!  The privately owned Charleston-style gardens were fantastic, not to mention the perfect setting for her session.  As I was looking through these, it was such a daunting task trying to decide on which ones to post as I have so many personal favorites.  Juliana & her mother Julie agreed it was not easy narrowing down which one to print for the canvas enlargement, which was displayed at the wedding reception. Its the one I have posted first below - such a great choice!  Stay tuned for a future blog post featuring their wedding and be sure to visit the blog from last week's post of their engagement session. I have adored working with this couple and their families & know that I'll have that opportunity again!
