Family Lifestyle Session - Mike, Kelly, + Girls

Somehow I overlooked featuring Mike, Kelly, & their two adorable daughter's late spring session!  And here it is officially fall already! We got together one evening in May at Guilford College in Greensboro where Kelly's dad is one of the tennis coaches.  I've actually known Kelly for quite a few years now, as she was business partner with her now retired mother, Sue McCain, of the Wedding Galleria by Bella and Bella Wedding & Event Planning.

It was great seeing Kelly again and meeting Mike finally. And those little girls...absolutely precious! Such sweeties, we had quite a bit of fun!  The campus offers up a nice backdrop & we had beautiful weather as we often do here in North Carolina in the spring. Fall is a beautiful time of year here too! And on that note, NOW is the time to schedule your session too - family, couples, head shots and more!  Please contact us for additional info & to book here!

Joe, Meredith, Baby A, + Grandparents: At Home Family Session

Earlier this winter I had the absolute pleasure of photographing one of my former wedding couples, Joe and Meredith, their 6 month old daughter Baby A, and her grandparents.  We met in the client's home for a 2 part session, which means we scheduled an hour session on one day and I came back for another hour session a week or so later.

Baby A is such a sweetheart and 6 months is such a cute age. She was just starting to sit up & was all smiles. What a sweet baby girl and I absolutely adore her parents! It was nice to see Meredith's mother and father again too.  They are such good people & welcomed me into their home.

Joe & Meredith's wedding can be viewed here and we also did their engagement session a month or so before their wedding.  Its been wonderful capturing so many of this family's important memories and we are already planning another session around Baby A's 1st birthday in August.  I've enjoyed being back in touch with Meredith and Joe and hope that we continue to do so!

A High Point Family Session - Bob, Elizabeth, + Children

At last, I can share these from Bob & Elizabeth's family session!  I had to wait until after Christmas as they were giving many as gifts to their family!  We got together last month on a beautiful fall afternoon in their neighborhood for their session.  Joining us was their newborn Bea (she's two months old now!) and her two older siblings, Sierra & Joey, who were such great sports and a big help with their little sister. I've known Bob & Elizabeth for several years now and they are such good people.  Ever since learning that they were expecting, I've been so excited for them! Bea is so precious & such a pretty baby girl. the day of the session was my first time meeting her. Each time I see her, she's grown some more! I look forward to more opportunities photographing Bea & her family again.   I am so grateful for clients and friends such as Bob & Elizabeth - they were a joy to work with and just so appreciative.

A Family of Seven! - A Greensboro Fall Session

Kris, Kim, their 4 children & the family dog met up with me on The Greenway along Lake Brandt in Greensboro for their Christmas card portrait.  Kim told me she hopes to make it an annual event, as she and her husband haven't had professional portraits since their wedding!

The trails were buzzing with activity the afternoon of their session, however we somehow managed to work around the cyclists, runners, and dozens of dog-walkers!  And its too bad the fall color wasn't quite at peak that weekend -  it has been hard to pinpoint and was pretty late this year.  Their session was in early November & peak is usually on or by the 3rd or 4th weekend in October here. Some of the trees are still hanging on to their leaves!

Either way, we had a fun time and I enjoyed getting to know this family.  Kris was a real trooper as he admitted he was missing out on the Steelers game!  We decided that next time we'd have to plan around the football schedule!  Such nice people whom I hope to get to work with again.

If you have family coming in for the holidays we'd be happy to schedule a session with you.  Contact us via our website for additional info & availability.  Generally, we will travel anywhere, however during the holidays we'd like to stick closer to home. We can schedule your session anywhere in the Greater NC Triad & will consider coming to Durham or Chapel Hill as well.  Let us know!
