last fall i photographed gabrielle's older sister, juliana, for her senior session. i was honored when her mother lynne asked me to come photograph gabrielle a few weeks ago. we met early one morning in chapel hill's coker arboretum for her session, which turned out to be the perfect location although it was pretty brisk! the fall color was still very beautiful then. i'm particularly fond of the shots of gabrielle taken within the japenese maple trees. her peach jacket & scarf complimented the brightly colored leaves. the arboretum never fails, no matter what time of year!
gabrielle is now a senior in high school and shares my love of photography. it was fun to talk shop with her. she's yearbook staff photographer at her school. she enjoys photographing people and when she gets the opportunity, travel photography. gabrielle is planning to attend college next fall and is thinking about either penn state, james madison university, or possibly george mason. best of luck to gabrielle... i know she will do well! what a sweet and talented young lady she is.
