Joe, Meredith, Baby A, + Grandparents: At Home Family Session

Earlier this winter I had the absolute pleasure of photographing one of my former wedding couples, Joe and Meredith, their 6 month old daughter Baby A, and her grandparents.  We met in the client's home for a 2 part session, which means we scheduled an hour session on one day and I came back for another hour session a week or so later.

Baby A is such a sweetheart and 6 months is such a cute age. She was just starting to sit up & was all smiles. What a sweet baby girl and I absolutely adore her parents! It was nice to see Meredith's mother and father again too.  They are such good people & welcomed me into their home.

Joe & Meredith's wedding can be viewed here and we also did their engagement session a month or so before their wedding.  Its been wonderful capturing so many of this family's important memories and we are already planning another session around Baby A's 1st birthday in August.  I've enjoyed being back in touch with Meredith and Joe and hope that we continue to do so!

A High Point Family Session - Bob, Elizabeth, + Children

At last, I can share these from Bob & Elizabeth's family session!  I had to wait until after Christmas as they were giving many as gifts to their family!  We got together last month on a beautiful fall afternoon in their neighborhood for their session.  Joining us was their newborn Bea (she's two months old now!) and her two older siblings, Sierra & Joey, who were such great sports and a big help with their little sister. I've known Bob & Elizabeth for several years now and they are such good people.  Ever since learning that they were expecting, I've been so excited for them! Bea is so precious & such a pretty baby girl. the day of the session was my first time meeting her. Each time I see her, she's grown some more! I look forward to more opportunities photographing Bea & her family again.   I am so grateful for clients and friends such as Bob & Elizabeth - they were a joy to work with and just so appreciative.

Baby Victoria's 10 Month Session

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing an adorable 10 month baby girl, Victoria. Her parents, Elizabeth & Travis, are one of my 2014 wedding couples.  Their beautiful winter wedding was featured on the blog here and earlier that summer I got together with them for their engagement session, also featured here.  Sweet couple!

Its always wonderful to learn when one of "my" couples starts a family and even more exciting when they ask me to photograph their babies and children.  10 months is such an adorable age too. Victoria was curious and has such a bubbly personality.  She loved playing with the fallen leaves on the grass. And she sure loves her stuffed rabbit.  What a cutie!

It was great to see Elizabeth again too. I can see she is a wonderful mother and that she adores her baby girl! I missed seeing Travis but they hope to do a full family portrait in the future. Travis is a chef and couldn't join us that day due to his schedule.

I do look forward to capturing their memories in years to come. We also offer a baby's first year plan which can even include the mother's maternity session, lifestyle newborn session, and then every 2-3 month sessions up until your baby is a year old.  Please get in touch with us if you'd like to do the same for your family!

sally blue is one!

sweet sally blue recently celebrated her first birthday! her mom and dad are dear friends of ours. she has two big sisters too. we spent some time with them this fall at shakori hills, where sally blue really hammed it up for the camera.  be sure to check out her "onesie" she is wearing.  not just any onesie, but a donna the buffalo onesie... LOVE it! sally blue has to be one of the youngest members of "the herd".

though this wasn't an "official" session, i was so delighted with how many of these photos turned out. but then again i had a fabulous subject!  sally blue was featured on my blog a year ago as a newborn and her mom's maternity session last fall.   i've been following sally blue around with my camera on several occasions J ... perhaps that's why she's so used to it!!

a very happy birthday and much love to sweet sally blue!
