wendy and kenny met at a mutual friend's house party on lake norman, so it was only fitting for them to want to schedule their engagement session at the lake. and it truly was the perfect backdrop with such amazing views. we got so lucky with the weather too. it just happened to be one of the coolest days we had in july, considering how hot and humid it was last month!
when i met wendy earlier this winter, i knew she was going to be so much fun to work with. and hearing all the wonderful things she had to say about kenny, i knew he would be too. when i finally did get to meet him the day of their session, seeing them together as a couple really gave me a sense of how much they really love one another. not to mention, they truly know how to have a good time together!
this coming weekend my assistant stacia and i will be joining wendy and kenny for their wedding in downtown greensboro. many of wendy's family are traveling all the way from venezuela {i need to brush up on my espanol!} and kenny's family, from west virginia. hopefully the weather will cooperate....we are all keeping fingers crossed that hurricane irene stays out to sea, though the landscape is in desperate need of the rain. doesn't it mean if it rains on your wedding day, it'll bring the couple good fortune?
