winston-salem was the location of catherine and hunter's wedding weekend festivities. their ceremony was held in a beautiful old church downtown and the reception was held nearby at graylyn estate. i remember catherine telling me that when she was a little girl, she had dreamed of having her wedding at graylyn, which is such a magical place.
this was my first time photographing a wedding there and i sure hope to get that opportunity again! graylyn is gorgeous, not to mention the cuisine was outstanding! dinner was served buffet-style, tables and chairs were setup both outside on the patio and indoors, allowing their 350 guests to move about freely. and i loved where they had the band and dance floor setup... over the pool in the pool house. what a great idea! and their band, gentlemen and their lady, was fabulous! they had all ages out on the dance floor....a great band can always keep the party going & that they did. what a fun wedding! i look forward to designing catherine and hunter's album soon!
