engagement session: megan+will

last thursday morning, i got together with megan and will on the lawn at the university of virginia in charlottesville for their e-session. the gardens on the grounds were in full bloom, from the gorgeous pink cherry blossoms to the fragrant wisteria. it was a perfect day for it with warm temps and a nice breeze blowing, the rain thankfully holding off throughout the morning.

megan and will met at the university of virginia while in physics class as underclassman, so the university has special memories for them both. we strolled around to several of the gardens for some photos and of course on the lawn with the rotunda in the background. afterwards we headed over to megan's sorority house, alpha chi omega, for a few photo ops on the front porch. we finished up with some shots of megan and will in their UVA sweatshirts in front of the statue of thomas jefferson on the north side of the rotunda.

what a fun morning and such a sweet couple. i could see that they were enjoying the moment of being together. megan will graduate from veterinary school in kansas this spring, and will from medical school in richmond, va. these two are real troopers! graduating, planning a wedding, relocating, starting new careers.... i can't imagine!

i do look forward to their wedding this coming june at king family vineyards in nearby crozet, VA. it won't be long!
