after meeting elise and adam earlier this winter, i just knew they would be wonderful to work with! their wedding day truly couldn't of been any better. a fun couple, wonderful families, perfect weather, a gorgeous venue, and a great team of vendors made for one magnificant day!
king family vineyards is one of my all time favorite places as its so scenic any time of year. elise and adam's early evening ceremony was held out on the lawn overlooking the horse pastures and the view of the blue ridge mountains, with a reception following in the carriage house.
elise and adam choose simple, yet elegant decor and had a bit of an equestrian theme incorporated into their day. elise's family owns a horse farm in ohio and with the polo horses at the winery's farm, it was only fitting. i loved the horseshoe table numbers & menu card holders. some of the other creative touches were the wooden rose supports which doubled as a great display for family photographs and the seating card holder, which was an old recycled painted blue shutter.
kelly and her staff at harvest moon catering provided an amazing meal and everyone enjoyed the delicious wedding cake. amy of blue ridge floral created gorgeous flowers, which are always so pleasing to the eye. the DJ, derek tobler, always knows what keeps the guests out on the dance floor, he's very professional and knowledgeable about music. and lets not forget the wedding coordinator, iris, and her two assistants. these ladies were amazing, as they kept things running smoothly throughout the evening.
most of all, elise and adam were fabulous to work with. congratulations to a sweet couple!
