Its hard to believe Juliana and Brian just celebrated their first anniversary yesterday - congratulations to these two! It may have been a year since their wedding, however I remember the day clearly. It was such a fun day filled with love, excitement, and anticipation!
Anna & I both started the day out at the church as everyone got ready. Although Juliana and Brian chose not to do a first look, they did do a first touch by holding hands around a corner and praying together. What really made their day special is that Juliana's maternal grandfather officiated their ceremony. And both her uncle and cousin provided the ceremony music.
The reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the beautiful Starmount Forest Country Club. The twinkling white lights and the uplighting made it so festive in the grand ballroom, where the festivities were held. DJ, Randy Smith, is amazing. He truly knows how to get everyone out on the dance floor, including the grandparents. Juliana, Brian, & their families sure know how to throw an fabulous party - everyone had such a blast!
It certainly has been wonderful getting to know Juliana and Brian over the past year and a half. I've also really enjoyed getting to know Juliana's mother, Julie. She planned much of the wedding, while Juliana & Brian were away in graduate school & living up in Virginia. Its been a joy to be back in touch with all of them, as I've been designing their wedding album. Can't wait to see them again when its time to deliver their album in the coming weeks!
