Candace + Jason - Sunset Ridge Buffalo Farm Wedding

Candace and Jason had a gorgeous wedding on a buffalo farm located near Roxboro, NC. They were surrounded by close friends and family under a large gazebo overlooking the lake, with buffalo grazing in pastures close by. Everything about their big day exuded pure romance and true love. These two were so excited to be marrying one another!

They choose to do a first look before the ceremony to help calm their nerves and spend a little time together reflecting on becoming one. We decided to have Jason stand up on the front porch of the farmhouse & Candace walk up the driveway, making her way up onto the porch. With Jason's back turned, Candace tapped him on his shoulder. And when he turned around and saw Candace for the first time in her dress, he was blown away! She was absolutely stunning!

He was equally taken aback when he saw her again, when her dad walked her in at the beginning of the ceremony.  Candace and Jason spoke their own vows to one another and exchanged rings. After their intimate ceremony, Candace and Jason slipped away for some alone time, while the guests enjoyed cocktails and h'ordeurves under the gazebo.

After being introduced as Mr. & Mrs., these two went into their first dance. A scrumptious buffet southern-style supper was served to their guests, with music playing softly in the background. Candace and Jason cut their awesome wedding cake decorated with fondant cutouts in the shapes of flowers and animals. And since their wedding was on a buffalo farm, it was only fitting to add the sparkly buffalo Christmas ornaments as decorations on the cupcake stand!

Candace's aunt was an amazing help throughout the day. I think we were all so grateful she was there coordinating - she made sure things went smoothly. Thank you, Dawn!  I was personally amazed at the carved watermelon she created in the shape of a turtle, filled with fresh berries, grapes, and of course watermelon. This is just one of the many things she pulled together.

And I must say that Candace & Jason were wonderful to work with - from their engagement session earlier this spring, to their wedding in May and of course all the planning ahead for both! Congratulations you two - thrilled to hear you enjoyed your honeymoon in Siesta Key, FL - which holds a special place in their hearts, as they were engaged in Siesta Key last fall!
