a wedding with dancing lemur photography - amelia + colin {second shooters + photobooth}

last september i had the honor of working alongside my dear friend & colleague jenny viars of dancing lemur photography.  jenny often works as my second photographer extraordinaire, however we changed hats for amelia & colin's wedding - and what fun it was! i loved {and LOVE} working as the second photographer at weddings. it's the best - especially with jenny!

in addition to second shooting, i also set up my photobooth at the reception which was such a blast! the guests absolutely loved it - i was busy nonstop snapping away for several hours - always a great idea for any kind of event. jenny and i provided most of the props, however amelia and colin brought in a few of their own.

southeastern center for contemporary art {secca}, located in winston-salem is where amelia & colin had their ceremony and reception. because it was raining they had to have the ceremony indoors in one of the galleries, which had great light. what a cool space! and their theme "alice's adventures in wonderland" was absolutely fabulous.

amelia and colin chose to do a "first look" before the ceremony - i love this series of photos!  amelia & her four bridesmaids looked so gorgeous in their beautiful pale grey gowns. AND amelia's shoes - wow! their cake was so pretty & holly tate fine catering is one for the books! i will definitely remember them for future client referrals. the presentation was amazing and the food even more so.

thank you so much jenny for giving me the opportunity to work with you again!  we are such a great team :)  i hope to "second" for you again sometime - and i know you will for me {see you in june!}
