at work...

wow! is it really august already...where does the time go? summers always fly by in a second. i've been busy as a bee, getting caught up on two months of work. may is finally done, now digging thru june and july. however it has been fun pouring thru all of the weddings, bridal+engagement portraits, high school seniors, and travel photos. little by little, i'm getting caught up which includes blogging.

after a weeklong trip to florida in june i had two portrait sessions scheduled as soon as i returned.... one in statesville, nc and the other near charlottesville, va. so the traveling continued... and well into july. one of those assignments included an engagement session at king family winery. i 'kidnapped' my friend pam for the day and she joined me on a roadtrip up to virginia to help me with this shoot (she was not only a fabulous 'reflector gal', she was super with my clients!). she snuck this pic of me while i was photographing meghan and strother in the vineyards...those pics coming soon so stay tuned.


thanks to all of my clients, friends, and family for being so patient and supportive! it truly has been one of the busiest summers on record. this week i am home at last, but wait there's more! i've got yet another busy schedule this week... i'm helping anthony shoot the wyndham championship in greensboro @ sedgefield country club. the PGA tournament begins tomorrow so the fun continues (i'm really looking forward to this gig!!)
