you may remember audra and jonathan from their engagement session which took place a couple of months prior to their august wedding. we had such a great time the day of their session, i just knew their wedding day was going to be equally fun too! though it was raining heavily the day of their wedding, it never dampened anyone's spirits. the couple chose to get married in a beautiful historic brick church built in 1717. the church is very special to audra, as this is where she attended with her family growing up. it was such a lovely ceremony!
the cocktail reception was held close by at the piankatank river golf club. coral & gray were their bright, cheerful wedding colors and were also used in their fabulous invitations designed by another former bride, april of {paper} dolls design. everyone enjoyed the buffet which included smoked salmon and shrimp cocktail, appropriate for a coastal wedding. the fun and dancing continued throughout the reception, thanks in part to a fantastic DJ!
early into the evening, the rain finally cleared the skies and the sun came out! it was just in time to capture a few of the wedding party out on the green & of audra and jonathan before they departed on their honeymoon. the second image from the last is of yours truly in the purple top arranging the wedding party group for their photos. my partner, terry, captured this shot of me from the porch. i didn't know he took it until i was editing a week or so later after the wedding!

we really enjoyed working with such a sweet couple and their families. we want to congratulate them on the their new home and a recent addition to their family, an adorable chocolate lab puppy ♥
