westbend vineyards, located in the rolling hills of the yadkin valley, was such a beautiful setting for jennah and travis's april 14th wedding. the weather couldn't have been any more perfect, especially after a week of rain and chilly temperatures!
jennah and travis chose to have their ceremony outdoors under a big oak tree facing out towards the vineyards. her father walked her down the aisle and gave her away. jennah and travis incorporated a sand ceremony, rather than a unity candle, into their ceremony which was such a sweet personal touch. i also loved the wine barrel utilized as the alter and the the red roses on both sides were so lovely. the roses also matched the bridesmaid's gowns {and the red wine!}.
after the ceremony, wedding party photos were taken under the same oak tree and i love that they wanted some not so serious shots too! jennah and travis requested photos of the two of them in the vineyards as well. the late afternoon light was so warm and gorgeous. not to mention the property of westbend is simply stunning!
after we finished up photos, an introduction of the wedding party got the party going! they held their reception under the covered area outdoors with a tent for extra seating and tables. visions catering offered a fabulous meal and the cake was enjoyed by all. dancing on the patio went well into the evening and when it was time for jennah and travis to depart, their guests saw them off with sparklers.
jennah and travis were such a fun couple to work with and i think they truly enjoyed themselves. jennah said it was everything she dreamed about her wedding...simple and filled with so much love. the newlyweds spent a relaxing honeymoon in cabo san lucas and are now back home settling in as newlyweds, both with busy careers {jennah is a paralegal & travis co-owner of clemmons bicycle}.
a special thanks to terry for assisting and to carl and ayako, mutual friends of the newlyweds, for the wonderful referral! and of course....congratulations to jennah and travis!
