Mandi and Adam celebrated their one year anniversary on September 13th! I was hoping I'd find time to feature their wedding before their 1st anniversary, but somehow time got away from me! However, their wedding day is still fresh in my mind.
It all started out with Mandi and her bridesmaids getting ready in the bride's cottage & the guys in the main house. Anna joined me as my second photographer for the day - she is always a joy to work with. She spent time with the guys getting the photos of them before the ceremony and me with the gals. These two decided not to do a first look. And because of it, Adam's reaction was priceless when he saw his gorgeous bride for the first time coming up the aisle! Not a dry eye there {including the photographers!}.
Adam was also quite touched when he was reading his letter from Mandi before the ceremony, as she was with his. These two are clearly madly in love with one another - and they met and started dating in high school, getting through college first, and finally engaged & now married. These two are so sweet together!
The beautiful ceremony was held in the side garden area at the venue & the weather was just amazing that day - cooler temps and lots of sunshine! Cocktails were served to the guests on the back patio while the wedding party took their photos immediately after the ceremony. There are so many places throughout the property for the guests to enjoy including walkways throughout the gardens, a large koi pond, fountains, and a swing for two on the front porch.
After cocktails were served, the guests moved to the large tented patio for the reception. Introductions, first dances, and dinner was served. Then the cake cutting, bouquet + garter tosses, and more dancing. Mandi & Adam departed in a sparkler send-off along the walkway. Everything looked amazing from the flowers to all of the personalized details. And that cake was gorgeous and just as delicious as it looked!
As always, it was wonderful working with Tonya of Abba Design. She is the best of the best. Not only does she have an eye for detail and her floral decor is over the top, she knows how to keep a wedding on schedule. Grateful to have had her there that night! I also enjoyed working with husband-wife team Dennis & Rhonda at Artistic Video Creations - highly recommend! And most of all, I LOVED working with Mandi and Adam - such a joy to be around! Congratulations and happy anniversary to these two!
