lexington, virginia wedding: melissa+brannon 08.21.10

after weeks and weeks of very hot and humid weather,  the weekend of melissa and brannon's wedding was simply lovely. cooler temps in the lower 80's plus plenty of sunshine, certainly was a treat! lisa and i had an absolute blast covering the wedding weekend festivities AND we enjoyed exploring lexington during our downtime.  unique shops, wonderful restaurants, not to mention the historical significance of the area. it was good to be back!

though melissa and brannon currently reside in new york city, they chose lexington for their wedding as they met as undergraduate students at washington and lee university.  they were looking for a more personalized, laid back weekend for their wedding and this was the perfect setting for it.  everything went smoothly and everyone had a wonderful time. after such a celebratory occasion, melissa and brannon spent their honeymoon in bali before returning to the big apple. we loved being a part of their special day and wish them the very best!
