kate and robert's wedding was held on september 20th, at first presbyterian church in statesville, north carolina. these images are just a few highlights from the many, many photographs we captured that day. the reception was held at a family friend's residence also in statesville. it was such a fun and festive evening and we really enjoyed working with the happy couple.
something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, a sixpence for your shoe...
though kate and robert chose not to see one another prior to the ceremony they exchanged gifts and held hands with the wall and door separating them... oh, so romantic!!

transportation for kate and robert from the church to the reception was a fire truck.... fun!
music was provided by summer daze band. though they are based out of south carolina, they travel throughout the south east for weddings, parties, corporate events, and music festivals. they played everything from beach music to the classics, which had both young and young-at-heart out on the dance floor all evening!
the groom's cake is often a tradition in the south. robert chose a fire truck as he is a fireman in raleigh, north carolina.
