summer is underway

we've been doing a bit of traveling these past several months and i've finally had an opportunity to post a few of these trips on my blog (make sure you see my last 5-6 entries). some of the fun places we've been together this spring are merlefest in the mountains of nc, twice to merchants millpond state park, savannah, and the crystal coast which included beaufort and cape lookout. we've made a few trips to virginia for weddings and to visit with friends. and soon we'll be off to the sunshine state for a wedding, a fly-fishing trip with my cousin (he's a guide), and to visit with my sisters and nieces. july takes us to the south carolina coast on numerous assignments (high school senior environmentals) and two weddings in virginia (plus one local one just 10 miles from my house! ) i still have some may and june weddings i'd like to post, so keep checking back. so summer is underway... this friday, june 20th is the first day of summer :-)
