engagement session: hannah+derek

last thursday i had the pleasure of meeting hannah and derek for the first time, as they are planning their wedding from california! we met at the sarah p duke gardens in durham, where their wedding will be held this summer. i was happy to see that many of the flowers and trees were in bloom at the gardens, making for a nice backdrop. hannah and derek were tons of fun, comfortable behind the camera, not to mention they both have a great sense of humor! i enjoyed spending the afternoon with them, while following them around with my camera. an "e-session" is certainly a great way to get to know one another before the big day! i'm really looking forward to seeing hannah and derek again and photographing their wedding in june!
